Hey, I'm Konstantin and due to lockdown laziness I've dusted off my old hobby of photography. As motivation I upload the images more or less frequently to my Instagram account frame.it.raw, mainly to keep myself on track.
As the name suggests, I'm aiming for a relatively "raw" representation of the subjects I photograph, and I largely avoid excessive post-processing (such as, for example, adding new objects). This is mainly because I want to preserve a certain truthfulness in the images; ultimately the subject should be able to stand and speak for itself.
Whilst photographing I always focus on the possible light sources for my image. I'm most drawn to situations where, for instance, a sunset or a couple of street lamps set both the tone and the structure of the photograph. Those are the moments when I always feel excited before I press the shutter. And without photography I would probably have just walked past and not noticed any of it. Hopefully I can pass on a little bit of this feeling to whoever reads this!
