Montagsmail (MoMa)
The Montagsmail (MoMa) is the stuv newsletter. Every Monday during lecture period you receive tips, dates and news for students: events, what's happening in the committees and departments, and information from facilities around the university. Over 10,000 students are already reading it.
How MoMa works
When it arrives
Every Monday during lecture period. The first one arrives in the week before lectures begin, the last one in the week before lectures end.
Rules for contributions
Everything that might be important for students at Uni Würzburg, ideally across subject areas. We do not include regular club meetings because we cannot cover them completely and fairly. Each organisation, facility or group gets one slot per MoMa. Contributions from stuv, its Departments and working groups take priority.
A maximum of 500 characters in total, generally in German.
- An event: Title; date, time and location; description up to 200 characters; link to website, social media or contact.
- Two to three events: each below date, time and location, title, one line description and link.
- Information text: Title, content up to 350 characters, link.
Only for the next MoMa, so for things that are important in the week after sending. We usually cannot take into account what comes after the submission deadline.
We check spelling and punctuation and shorten or adapt if necessary. If too many contributions arrive or if one does not fit our guidelines and values, we will inform you within our capabilities. You are responsible for the links.
A volunteer team from the Public Relations Department of the Speaker Council / Student Government (SSR): Pia Becke, Vinzenz Dürr, Barbara Harlander, Fiona Becker, Yasmeen Schmidt and Tobias Haase. Every MoMa involves 10 to 15 hours of work.
Questions for the team, but no submissions: montagsmail@uni-wuerzburg.de.
