Queer:feminism
The Department for Queer:feminism is committed to advocating for queer and feminist concerns at Uni Würzburg. This is necessary because queer people still experience prejudice and violence, and rigid gender roles restrict all genders.
Above all, the Department is a space for the queer community. Here you will find connection and people who are working with you for an open university. All students for whom queer and feminist issues are important can participate.
You are welcome, whether you are new to the university or have been studying here for a while. And regardless of whether you came out long ago or don't yet know whether you identify as queer.

What we do
All-gender toilets and menstrual products
We campaign for this: all-gender toilets in all university buildings and free menstrual products in all toilets.
Show the flag in Pride Month
The university should display the Pride flag throughout June. The StuPa has supported this demand since 2022 with a resolution.
Information and social events
Talks, readings, stalls and meet-ups: we make queer:feminist issues visible and bring the community together.
We're here if you experience discrimination
Are you being discriminated against because of your sexual or gender identity? Write to us. We listen and show you who can help.
