Campusfahrplan

Since 16 September 2025, the Campusfahrplan has been in effect at Hubland: more buses, longer operating times in the evening and clearer stops. stuv initiated it. Its Department of Mobility coordinates the Mobility Partnership and brings the wishes of students to the table there.

What has improved

Every 7 minutes to campus

During the day, a bus arrives every 7 minutes heading to campus or the main railway station; in the evening, roughly every 15 minutes.

Study longer, get home safely

The buses run to match the opening hours of the university library, weekdays until just before 1 a.m.

Early to lectures

At peak times there are twice as many connections, plus extra trips on line 10 before 8 a.m.

No changes needed to get into town

Lines 10 and 29 merge into each other and connect the campus directly with the main railway station and Sanderring.

Also during holidays and on Sundays

During school holidays the frequency remains the same as during lecture time. On Sundays, line 29 runs more than twice as often between 11 and 6 p.m.

No extra costs

Your semester ticket is valid. The Campusfahrplan is financed through savings elsewhere and does not make the ticket more expensive.

Status of information: Timetable change on 16 September 2025.

Good to know

In the WVVmobil app and in the WVV timetable information. Which line stops at which platform of the Universitätsbibliothek stop is shown in the WVV overview map.

The "Philosophisches Institut" became "Philosophische Fakultät", "Am Hubland" became "Campusbrücke", and "Magdalene-Schoch-Straße" became "Hubland TGZ". "Universitätszentrum" and "Hubland Mensa" are now called "Universitätsbibliothek", with stairwells A, B and C.

The campus has grown significantly, construction sites are planned at Hubland North, and the campus is to become car-free in the long term.

The city of Würzburg continues to plan with it. For us it remains an important concern.
