Würzburg International Network (WIN)
New to Würzburg and don't know anyone yet? The Würzburg International Network (WIN) brings international and German students together. It wants to make your start in Würzburg easier and bring German culture closer to you.
At joint events you'll quickly find your feet and get to know the city and its people. The team consists of German and international students. No matter where you come from: you are welcome.
The WIN is a Department of the Speaker Council / Student Government (SSR) and thus part of your stuv. All students can participate: as a guest at the events or in the team that plans them.
What we do
Every semester, the WIN team organises many events. Which ones there are depends on the ideas of the current team. So far, for example, there have been these formats:
Karaoke and Trivia Nights
Regular evenings where you sing or solve riddles with others. An easy way to meet new people.
Pub Crawls and Parties
Pub tours through Würzburg and Erasmus parties where you'll quickly find your place.
Wine and Würzburg
Wine walks, wine tastings and city tours show you what makes Würzburg special.
Excursions
Day trips to the surrounding area and occasionally multi-day trips to other German cities.
Languages and Getting to Know People
At Language Exchange, Speed-Friending or International Dinner you'll easily get into conversation.

How events work
Registration
Many events are open to everyone. For some you need to register beforehand. How to do this is in the post for the event.
Awareness Team
WIN has its own Awareness Team and an Awareness concept so that everyone can feel safe at the events.
