Unicup 2027

The football tournament of Uni Würzburg with supporting programme – Saturday, 5 June 2027, Sports Centre at Hubland

What is the Unicup?

From the lecture hall to the pitch! Unicup is the event that brings the university together: for one day, 32 teams of students and staff compete for the trophy at the sports centre on the Hubland – plus there are live DJs, food and drink stalls and a supporting programme for those who prefer to watch.

A university-wide football tournament already takes place regularly with great success at many universities in Germany. Since football is by far the most popular sport and connects people worldwide, Unicup has also been held in Würzburg since 2023. Our mission: to bring different people together.

Unicup is organised on a voluntary basis by students together with the Student representation of Universität Würzburg.
