Mensa-Party
Semester start means Mensa-Party: the party of stuv, the original in Würzburg. Music into the early hours of the morning and loads of students from all subjects. Whether Uni Würzburg, Hochschule für Musik or THWS: everyone is invited.
Where the celebration takes place changes. In winter semester 2026/27, stuv takes over the Posthalle, with two floors. The current location is always listed with the date in the Event Calendar.

First-semester ticket
In your first semester you pay less. You'll need your sNumber/university user name and the verification number from your enrolment.
Questions about the party
Tickets are available in advance online in the stuv ticket shop, stuvtix.de. You receive the ticket as a PDF with QR code by email. In addition, stuv sells tickets at the Studimesse and in the stuv hub. Last time the party was sold out: with a ticket from advance sales you are guaranteed a place.
In the winter semester 2026/27 the Classic ticket costs 8 euros and the freshers' ticket 6 euros, each including all fees and VAT. For the freshers' ticket you need your sNumber/university user name and the verification number of your enrolment certificate. If you want to support the work of stuv, you can choose a support ticket: more money, no extra service. The current prices are always in the ticket shop.
The party is open to everyone who wants to celebrate, from Uni Würzburg, the University of Music and the THWS. Entry to the Posthalle is from 18 years old. Have your ticket with the QR code and an ID ready. The QR code is not tied to a person, but is valid exactly once.
At stuv events, the Awareness Department is available and can be identified by their purple vests. Let the team or staff know if someone gets too close to you or if you feel uncomfortable. More information can be found at the Awareness Department.
If something goes wrong with the purchase or the ticket doesn't arrive, write to stuv-veranstaltungen@uni-wuerzburg.de. Behind the party are the Events Department in the SSR and stuv e. V.
Without helpers, no party happens: students manage entry, cloakroom, bar service and setup. If you want to be involved, write to the Events Department in the SSR.
