Awareness

The Awareness Department ensures that everyone can feel as safe as possible at stuv events. You can recognise us there by our purple vests, for example at fairs and parties. Talk to us if you need help or want to chat.

Graphic from the Awareness Department: "As Student representation, it is important to us that everyone can feel comfortable with us! That is why we have newly established the Awareness Department." With the note "Get involved!"

What we do

Listen and support

Do you feel uncomfortable at an event, experience boundary violations or discrimination? Talk to us. We listen and support you.

Signposting

You can also write to us outside of events. We'll tell you which trusted contacts and services can help you further.

Trained in workshops

We are students ourselves and learn in workshops how to do good awareness work. The StuPa founded the department in December 2025.

Help outside of events

The Awareness Team is primarily deployed at stuv events. If something has happened to you at university, these contact points can help you. You can find an overview of all contact points on our page Counselling.

Join the Awareness Team

All students can participate, you don't need any prior experience. Members receive free training. Write to us if you'd like to be part of it.
