PoC Community

The Department is currently inactive

The Department of PoC Community is currently inactive because it has neither a department head nor members. Until a new election, the SSR is responsible: ssr@uni-wuerzburg.de.

What it was about

PoC stands for People of Color, a term people who experience racism use to describe themselves. The Department aimed to empower those affected, raise awareness of racism among all students and bring about change at the university. To this end, it planned events, held meetings in a group open only to those affected and served as a point of contact when racist incidents occurred.
