(UN-)SENSE: FEBRUARY 2021 ISSUE

The new year has begun and 2020 is finally over. But the beginning of the year is not necessarily what one hoped for so much after last year.
With the extension of the lockdown, the opening of restaurants, evening meetings with friends and the occasional outing still seem a long way off. "What exactly am I doing here?" and "what is the point of it all?". That and other questions you may have asked yourself recently with self-doubt, dissatisfaction or in self-reflection.
However, you should not write off 2021 yet, but rather free yourself from fixed ideas of sense and nonsense and openly look forward to what is still to come.
sehen, was noch kommt.
A year of digital university operations during Corona has significantly changed the daily routines of many students. Certain activities have simply been integrated into daily routine and are carried out almost robotically without thought. Are we all just remote-controlled and waiting for it all to be over? All clear: No. You still determine the meaning behind your everyday madness and your own challenges. It is entirely your decision whether something only holds you back or whether you can recognise a benefit in it. These and other thoughts prompted the Sprachrohr team to choose the main theme "(Non-)Sense" for the current issue. It is about not always looking at everything from just one side. What may seem nonsensical to some may have a very special meaning for others. The term (non-)sense is very far-reaching and can be interpreted in many different ways. That is why we can present you with very interesting and above all diverse input from our diligent editorial team. Some other creative writers have also submitted great texts. In addition, our "Literature & Art" section is very rich this time, no wonder with this philosophical topic.
philosophischen Thema.
And here it is, our new issue: job and studies, Corona demos, catcalling and your own future. You can see that everything that is currently relevant in society and polarising is covered here. We wish you lots of fun reading and discovering, let yourself be inspired for the new year 2021!
