Hello friends, I'm Jakob and as a Meme Lord I run the very good meme page @Uni_Wuerzburg_Memes.
I've always been enthusiastic about satirical posts and sarcastic exaggerations. Memes are a great way to convey exactly that. When I then had the opportunity to examine memes from a scientific perspective in the seminar "Ethnographers on the Internet", it was clear to me: Uni Würzburg urgently needs its own meme page. I realised the idea during our collective creative peak: the first Corona lockdown. Whilst my friends were drawn into the spell of their own sourdough, I seized the unobserved moment and tirelessly arranged images, texts and emojis.

@Uni_Wuerzburg_Memes was born and enjoyed great popularity from the outset. Thanks to some collaborations with the University's press office, my level of recognition increased enormously – and so did the University's. In my shady business, one hand washes the other.
And so, in addition to my presence in various lectures and seminars, I enrich the University with memes about the University and student life here in Spicecastle. In my position as Meme-Lord, I supply my now almost 4,000 insatiable followers with an inexhaustible supply of legendary joke images, sometimes more regularly, sometimes less so. Depending on the complexity and content, producing a very good meme requires anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour.
Perhaps just briefly for general understanding: "The term meme encompasses various manifestations of a cultural phenomenon characterised by the dissemination of small media content with usually humorous, uplifting or sometimes satirical and correspondingly socially critical messages", according to Wikipedia. This should dispel any doubts about the scientific value of my work.
