During the student fair, we, Sprachrohr, set up a laptop at our stand. There, everyone had the opportunity to write the following short story. One sentence per person, that was the rule. Many thanks to everyone who participated and enjoy reading 🙂

————————————————————————————————————————————————————

It was a sunny weekday, late in April. I had landed once again in this far too philosophical frame of mind. A flock of birds flew across the sky, I was very puzzled. I felt the warm breeze on my skin, so that I got goosebumps. Not only did the moment touch me deeply, but also my dream from last night. I dreamed of a new beginning and looked forward to the new chapter of my life. With my coffee in hand, I strolled through the park. In my ears I heard the loud laughter of children on their way to school. I plucked up courage and spoke to them: "Have you seen a woman with long brown hair and a green jumper? She was probably in a hurry, rushing." The children pointed with their small sweaty hands, giggling and cheering, in all sorts of directions. Slowly I began to doubt their knowledge. Would I ever find the woman again? But then a child with brown curls and freckles, who had heard the question, ran up to me and was able to tell me more. It wanted to eat a portion of cannelloni. Only if I fulfilled this wish for it could it tell me where I could find the woman. So I first had to set out in search of a restaurant. But it was not an ordinary restaurant, but one about which eerie horror stories circulated. I had imagined the day very differently – but well, I thought to myself, off to new adventures.
