Dear readers,

The first Sprachrohr edition of this year and at the same time the last of this semester is under the main theme "Pressure". True to the chosen main theme, this edition is also the first that you will be able to hold in your hands again after four semesters and seven digital editions. The last printed edition under the main theme "Studying as a Side Matter" was published in winter semester 2019/20, so two years later we are all the more delighted to be able to hold "Pressure" in our hands in print once again.

As you know from us, the main theme rarely comes with just one meaning. And this time too, we do not understand "Pressure" only in the Guttenberg sense. Whether it is about performance pressure, pressure to act, societal pressure, pressure one puts on oneself or pressure through which diamonds are created, hardly any word is so multifaceted. This has resulted in many interesting and captivating articles. What pressure do our authors feel in which situations? And how do they deal with this pressure? We do not want to give everything away at this point and start philosophising endlessly about pressure – how to deal with it, where it is helpful and where it is superfluous – we would rather leave that part to you.

However, with this edition not only does the time of the Sprachrohr's exclusive online version come to an end, but also our time as editorial leadership. But do not worry, because after this edition we will hand over the editorial leadership to two other outstanding editors. You will soon find out who that is and what changes come with it. In our last joint foreword, we would like to thank you for our time as editorial leadership. We particularly thank you readers for your ever-lasting loyalty and our editors for their never-ending creativity and constantly new ideas, even in the most difficult times!

With that, we wish you lots of fun with our new edition. Sit down and let yourself be drawn into the thoughts of our editors with a cup of coffee, on the bus, in the canteen or at home. We cannot imagine a better way to escape the exam and essay phase for a few blissful moments.

Enjoy reading!

Your editorial leadership
Milia and Olivia
