Between the Walls

The dystopian political drama follows the non-binary protagonist Seona through an increasingly radicalising society. Between personal refuges, public threat and moments of collective hope, an arresting portrait of queer identity emerges in times of societal regression.

Between the Walls by Talia Klenk poses the question of how much self-determination people are allowed to have before society begins to take it away from them again. The story unfolds over several years and revolves around fear, love, resistance – and the longing to be allowed to exist in peace.
