Literature
Do you enjoy writing, read a lot or want to finally work on your own writing project? The Literature Department gives you space and community for this. Here you exchange ideas with other students about literature, share your own texts and receive feedback.
The Department belongs to the Departments of the SSR. Student Parliament (StuPa) established it in March 2024. All students can participate, whether you write yourself or prefer to listen.
What we do
Writing meetings
Write together and talk about literature: in general meetings and in meetings on individual genres.
Open mic readings
At our open mic readings you present your own texts or listen to what other students write.
Feedback on your texts
You can share texts and writing projects and receive respectful feedback, also anonymously.
Guest lectures and focal points
Guest lectures and jointly chosen literary focal points are meant to give you new impulses for your writing.
How it works
The Department meets regularly for collaborative writing or to exchange ideas about books and texts. The meetings take place at the university and sometimes at other locations.
The Department takes up students' wishes and wants to give space to as many literary interests as possible. Do you have an idea for a meeting or a project? Then bring it up.
