Topics
stuv campaigns for better conditions in your studies and on campus. What exactly it campaigns for is decided by the Student Parliament (StuPa). The Student Government (SSR) and the Departments represent it to the university, city and student services. Here you'll find what we're currently working on.

Further topics
Mensa
Affordable prices, a healthy and inclusive mensa and a cafeteria that also opens at weekends.
Semester ticket
In the university elections 2026, students rejected expanding the ticket to the entire NVM transport association because it would have become more expensive.
Student employees
The StuPa supports the TVStud campaign: student employees need a collective agreement and contracts with a minimum duration.
What else concerns us
Bavaria is the only German state without a constituted student body, that is, without a student representation with its own legal form and its own membership fees. The stuv is therefore part of the university and depends on it. In principle we campaign for conditions like those of a constituted student body, but we also see advantages in the Bavarian model. As things stand, it is not enough, above all when it comes to the expense allowances, the heavy workload and the limited rights.
Whether BAföG, rent or the Mensa: studying must remain affordable. With BAföG, students have more of a say in the State Student Council, which is why we work there through our BayStuRa delegation as well. Our representatives on the Administrative Board and in the Representative Assembly of the Student Services also work towards this. Finding affordable accommodation is particularly difficult for international students.
A tram to campus remains an important concern for us. However, the city of Würzburg must make the decision, as it continues to plan the construction.
Furthermore, we are concerned with the amendment to the Higher Education Act, a civil clause, volunteering alongside studies, fair examination rules and reliable information about construction sites. All positions of the StuPa are in the Resolution Collection. You open the resolutions with your sNumber/university user name.
