Extended University Board (EUB)

The Extended University Board (EUB) brings together the University Board (Presidency) with the deans of all faculties. Also attending are the director of the Professional School of Education, the university equal opportunities officer, one representative each of academic and other staff, and a student member.

The EUB advises and supports the University Board, draws up the university's development plan and updates it. It proposes research priorities and advises on, for example, new Special Research Areas or Graduate Schools. The university's strategic planning, such as research profile, faculty structure and development plan, is prepared here before the University Council makes a final decision.

The student member and a deputy are elected by the Student Faculty Council (FSR). The deputy participates in meetings in an advisory capacity; only the student member has voting rights. Term of office 2025/26.
